YWCA Centre for Women & Families

JCK Engineering Inc. provided full structural engineering services to 1080 Architecture Planning + Interiors for the new $50M YWCA Centre for Women & Families. The new facility is located adjacent to downtown and will provide a consolidated hub for women and families to access professional service in a safe and efficient manner. The facility includes 68 supporting housing suites, 40 emergency beds, 2 childcare spaces each able to accommodate 90 children, an indigenous healing lodge, and administrative space for YWCA staff. PCL is the Construction Manager and the building is currently under construction.
